Jesus gave us everything. He gave us his life, a place in heaven, a free will and a way for salvation. At Easter we are reminded of what Jesus did and gave us while we get fat on chocolate.
However the question is what are we holding onto that God wants us to give to him? What is holding you back? What are you/ we holding onto that limits the power of God in our lives and to impact our friends/ family and love ones?
Does what we are holding onto take more importance than God? Does it take over our time we should be spending with God? Does it limit us sharing the news of Jesus’ love at work? On the sports field? On Facebook/ Twitter?
Is it a secret sin? Porn? Idolotry? Hatred? Bitterness? Anger? No matter how big or small you may think it is, if it holds us back and limiting what God can do in our lives, maybe its time we let it go. Leave it at the cross and allow Jesus to take its place.
