		<description>Thank you for this thought!  Rereading this passage has pointed my thoughts to the kingdom of heaven.  In chapter 3 John the Baptist said the kingdom of heaven is near.  In Matthew 4 Jesus started his ministry with, &quot;Repent (change your way) for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.&quot;  In this chapter it says the kingdom of heaven is advancing since the days of John the Baptist.  

As soon as John baptized Jesus he saw the &quot;Spirit&quot; of God descend upon Jesus.  (my emphasis on Spirit)  So it is interesting to ponder your question concerning the Holy Spirit.  But I would say John did see the Holy Spirit that day and the kingdom of heaven began.</description>
