Interesting that Jesus healed more than he saved! It’s not words or sound theology that got peoples interest but rather the healings and signs & wonders.
Verse 35-37: perfect example of the power of words & how negative words can deflate faith & limit the power of God.

The parable of the sower sounds like today’s church. None have roots in Gods word & are established as they are based on enternainment and not the word of God.

Verse 1-6: I love how Jesus did not give a stuff about the Pharisees and what they thought about him breaking tradition.
Question is how do we today break tradition in the church? The methods that have becomme the churches theology on how you be saved & do church?

When the religous folk have a go at Jesus for his disciples eating the grain yet said nothing about David. To me it shows to me that every church hates the new kid on the block.
Someone who is not afraid of shaking it up, new style of worship, saying something unpopular.

Interesting after just one healing, Jesus couldn’t move freely in the city. He healed people & did signs and wonders as a way of establishing himself & using that to minister to people.
Shows that it isn’t just words but something behind more behind it. You can’t argue a personal testimony of being touched by Jesus, [...]

Will always be people in the church that will down play or try to rationlise miracles and movements of God. These are likely to be people in high place like the scribes & pharises.
They are poison, as they payed people to say lies that Jesus’ body was stolen. That lie is still around (DaVinces Code).

The Pharisee’s & scribes knew the old testament inside out yet they couldn’t see Jesus fullfilling the phrophesies..
It’s like you get people in today’s church world that know the bible or the word inside out yet it’s just that, words. No matter what they see or hear, it’s just noise.

When I read of the disciples talking about the oil being wasted & falling asleep while praying in the garden I always think, “wouldve I said or done the same?” & I reckon the answer is yes!
