We all use Xmas as a short hand for Christmas but is it bad? I have been told that it means its crossing out Christ from Christmas or is this just a Christian theory and scare tactic?

Saint Nick was a bishop from modern day Turkey but what makes him so famous is that it he who inspired (with help from Coca Cola) one of the most famous characters of the world and that is Father Christmas, or Santa Claus.

Last Thursday I went to get my ribs X-Rayed due to them hurting for a few days. When the docs asked me about my medical history, they jumped up and down and got very concerned when I mentioned I had Hodgkins cancer in my neck area and all of a sudden the word ‘cancer’ comes to mind.

So how do we reach the western world in todays society? Do we leave it to our Pastors and Politicians or do we rely on the thousands of tracts and event after event to make the difference? Or do we get off our bum and through our lives and relationships we make the difference by the way we live in the fallen world?
